Any billing transaction can be split across any number of families/parties Previously with split families, both parties were sent an identical copy of the bill for a student’s fees. Now, any billing transaction can be split by percentage across two or more families/parties. Of course, families must be in the database (debtors). Default charges are set up: F (Fees) and S (Sundries) and these can be split independently. Set the split once, and forget. Every time a billing run is done, the invoices will automatically be generated according to the split settings. |

| Example 1 |
Two seperate invoices are then generated with charges split between Angus' mother and natural father in the 25%:75% ratio. |
Example 2 Angus Lawson's parents have divorced, his mother has re-married and Angus' natural father has agreed to pay 50% of all his tuition costs. |
